Button, Button

1/2 DAY WORKSHOP: Plant a nosegay of button flowers on a sample quilt block you can turn into a mini-quilt, pillow front or album cover. As you go, you'll cultivate at least a dozen wild & crazy ways to sew on a button, adding a special decorative accent to a quilted accessory or any wearable.

No sewing machines needed for this workshop.

I'll share:

  • bunches of buttons

  • the pattern for the hand-held nosegay (inspired by Picasso)

  • other innovative designs and ways to showcase buttons

  • how-to's for making your own buttons from polymer clay or shrink-art plastic
