First in the series; started just playing around, slicing and dicing and seeing what piecing, applique, and origami tricks will work with tea and coffee bags plus other packaging. I think the drink stirrers are stirring up too much texture, and the end result is too cluttered. The first rendition was probably finished in 2009, but I later, improved the composition by framing with a felt "mat" and tiny patchwork border.
