Print these out and use to add applique names, monograms, words or phrases to your work.

Loosely cut out the letters you need.

For felt letters, pin the patterns to felt. Cut out the letters and unpin the patterns. Arrange the letters on a background, pin to secure.

If you prefer to use fabric for your letters, iron paper-backed fusible web to the wrong side of the fabric. Remove the paper backing. Pin the right side of felt or fusible-web-backed fabric. Carefully cut out the letters, and arrange them on the background. Press to fuse.

Topstitch or zigzag-stitch along the edges to secure the letters in place.
